            At Wednesday’s class, I learned a very important method or the strategy in advertising development.  First, a designer has to learn everything about the product.  In this project, our group is promoting the xbox speed wheel.  I never see this product before, and I am not a video player.  However, I did research about this product, and try to find out the unique features about this product.  I learned that this product is 100% wireless and a lot cheaper than other products.  Therefore, our group got the selling points, which are cheap price and great gaming experiences. 
            The next step is to find out who are our audiences.  It is very clear.  Our audiences are mostly male from 15-27 years old.  Most of them are from high school and college.  From here, we can choose the publication for our ads.
            After gather information about our product and audiences, we could develop the mood of feeling of our ad.  For our group, we decided to choose humour as the mood of our ad.
            So far, that is my understanding about strategy in advertising.
